Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43 Jesus told many stories with hidden meanings. They are called parables. He told about a man who sowed good seed in his field. However, his enemy came at night and sowed weeds in the field among the wheat. This story tells us about Satan. He is the enemy. He plants his evil children among the children of God in the world. They must grow together until Jesus comes again. Then God's children will be separated from the evil ones. All who do evil will be like weeds. They will be destroyed by fire. God's children are like the wheat. God will take them to be with Him forever.
